Tom Jackobs is known as the Impact Pilot, a master of sales and public speaking. He has been an Entrepreneur for the last 30 years. Tom spent 12 years working in the Oil and Gas industry, but eventually discovered his passion for fitness and bought his own health facility in 2008. And after some trial and error, Tom became a master at selling. While running the gym, he decided to work with a consulting company coaching other fitness professionals how to sell, market and manage their fitness business. In this time, he sold about $4 million worth of coaching programs. After almost 10 years, Jackobs sold his fitness business and now teaches service providers how to tell their stories so they can sell more of their service.

Victor Dedaj is a performance analyst in the business sector, specifically in operations. He began to feel worn out in 2008 following the market meltdown, and a few years later he was fired as the business world also began to crumble.

After a brief sabbatical, he made the decision to pursue business. He experimented with numerous business ideas. switching between network marketing, e-commerce, etc. He made a lot of blunders in the first few years of his business venture, just like any other entrepreneur, because he had no idea what he was doing at all.

He also made the decision to find a mentor to help him along the way as a learning process and to stop making a few mistakes. George Liu, a President and CEO of Gym Pillars was born in Japan and raised in China. He used to move around a lot when he was a little kid, amongst all the changes when it comes to moving or in school, and as a kid, he experienced rough childhood and been working hard just to fit in be accepted by his peers. When he turned 18, due to self dissatisfaction, he decided to change and started to work out to build up his ego and change his life. After he graduated, health and fitness becomes a huge piece of his life and decided to build his own major which is "Health and Marketing Entrepreneurship." Philip Pape, a Certified Nutritional Coach, Mindset Specialist, Strength Training Expert, host of Wits & Weights Podcast, and online trainer, didn't start in the fitness industry until his late 30s. He had struggled with health all his life, being overweight and coming from a family with health concerns such as diabetes, obesity, and heart disease. Throughout the years, he tried lots of different approaches to lose weight like trying different workouts and diets, but it wasn't until 2020 when he learned about strength and nutrition. He conducted a lot of experimentation on himself for about 1.5 years and saw a lot of improvement. Eventually he wanted to share this information with others so in late 2021, he started a podcast. A powerlifter who listened to his podcast asked if he would consider coaching her as a nutrition coach, and that's how he got started with his online fitness business. He never intended his sharing of knowledge to be a business, as he had a day job as an engineer, but despite having only been in business for less than a year, he now has an impressive 80% close rate in sales.

JD Daley, the founder of Undeniable Closer Mastermind, has had 17 years of experience in the sales world - setting, closing, managing, traning & recruiting. He got his start after dropping out of university 3 weeks after entering, moving to a different province, applying for hundreds of jobs, and finally getting 1 job offer, which ended up being a door-to-door company - something that he at first thought was horrible. After getting 96 no’s & 4 yes-es during his first day of training, he was shocked to know that his trainer had actually made a couple hundred dollars that day (he thought they made nothing). This got him interested so he continued the job doing door-to-door and cold-calling. After a few years, he finally got his dream job but very soon after found that the corporate world was not for him. So he quit his dream job and 7 years ago he found out about the remote sales space. He started developing his own process for this and found good results. So good that he made $120k in 4 months, all while traveling around the world. He was hooked. He soon started teaching other people his process, and that’s where the Undeniable Closer Mastermind was born.

Jess Glazer Derose, an ex-celebrity trainer & owner of the multi-million online business The Digital Business Evolution, is no longer in the fitness industry but has always loved the world of fitness. She was a gymnast in college and a fitness trainer for 18 years, starting with the day care room then getting promoted to the front desk, and moving her way up through the years. She took all the tests to become a trainer before she was even 17, went to school for physical therapy, and even competed in bodybuilding competitions. In 2012, she had a full-time job as an elementary school teacher, however as a side hustled, she started emailing friends & writing workout programs for them through email & they would mail her checks as payment. She was able to scale her fitness business online to 6-figures in just over a year. Her friends would then keep asking her about how to take their businesses online and the first friend she helped had an $80,000 launch following the program that she gave her. More and more people started asking for her help so in 2017, she made the full-time jump to entrepreneurship, coaching people on how to take their businesses online. For a couple of years, she kept her health & fitness online training business + doing business coaching, but in 2020, she decided to concentrate solely on the latter.

Kevin Lowe, the podcast host of Grit, Grace & Inspiration, is also a Transformational Life & Business Coach. He lost his ability to see during junior year of high school, at the age of 17. He had a non-cancerous brain tumor which had to be removed immediately, which then led to him losing his eyesight, temporarily losing his sense of smell & getting short-term memory loss, on top of other medical issues - some of which he still deals with today, 19 years later. However, this roadblock fueled a strong desire in him to use his life experiences to ignite a sense of hope & optimism into the world. He created his own online travel agency, Better Days Travel, which operated from 2013-2020. During the pandemic, he sold off his website for the travel agency, and knowing that deep down it wasn't what he was meant to be doing, went on to figure out just what that was.

Paul Meldrum, the owner of Meldrum Performance Coaching, is also a recipient of the Clinical Excellence Award & was a former Personal Trainer of the Year. He started as a personal trainer in a commercial gym, however he soon left due to burnout. He then did freelance personal training and then moved to creating his own small sports studio. He had a lot of inquiries so he decided to expand, doing semi-private training, and ended up operating a commercial gym with 400 PT members. Although his gym was doing well, he started question how he can prevent his business from losing money when his clients left or moved away. And that’s when he decided to sell online. A year before Covid hit, he decided to sell his gym. Because he loves doing in-person training, he continued to do subcontracting with gym but he also spent a lot of his time developing online programs. At that time, he business was 60% online & 40% in person. Only 1 day after the lockdowns due to Covid happened, he was already operating 100% online, with all his systems in place. Today, his business is 95% only & only 5% in person.
